Attorney David Arrington

Attorney David Arrington was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  He obtained his bachelor of science decree from the University of Houston in 1995, and graduated from South Texas College of Law in December, 2003.

Mr. Arrington began working for the prestigious Houston, Texas Family Law firm of Piro * Nichols * Lilly just after graduating from high school in 1990.  He continued working with that firm full time through college and law school.  The firm transformed over the years into what was ultimately known as Piro, Lilly & Cole.  The firm hired Mr. Arrington as one of its associate attorneys in December, 2003 where Mr. Arrington began and continued to practice exclusively family law until the firm dissolved in the Summer of 2007.  During the years with the firm, Mr. Arrington helped the partners and associate attorneys (most of which were Board Certified Family Law Specialists) prepare for custody trials and various other hearings.  He attended and participated in numerous trials.  He assisted many of the attorneys with researching and writing speeches for widely known legal education courses, and co-authored a speech for the 2006 Advanced Family Law Course in San Antonio, Texas. 

Mr. Arrington is married with children, and understands the importance of having quality family law representation during the tumult of any family law case.




Attorney Paul F. Tu

Attorney Paul F. Tu has lived in Houston and the surrounding area for over 30 years.  His family left Vietnam in 1974 to escape the communist invasion of their homeland.  Mr. Tu graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, Texas and then attended and graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.  After graduating with a degree in International Business, Paul worked for a multi-national oil drilling company.  Mr. Tu then attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10 in his class, and was a Business Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review.  He also received a certification from the Institute of International and Immigration Law for his focus on current and developing immigration law.

After graduation, Paul started working for the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office.  During his time at the DA’s office, he was selected to attend a national training academy for prosecutors focusing on advocacy skills.  The National Advocacy Center was directed and funded by the United States Department of Justice.  Mr. Tu has extensive trial experience including: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Assaults, Theft, Home Invasions, Aggravated Robbery and many Drug Possession cases.

Paul F. Tu is currently a director of the Texas Young Lawyers Association; executive board member of the Fort Bend Young Lawyers Association; member of the Asian American Bar Association; Fort Bend Criminal Defense Bar Associations.

Paul F. Tu is fluent in Vietnamese and is determined to assist citizens of Texas.  He will work tirelessly to protect your rights and freedoms.




Attorney Sheila Burnett

Attorney Sheila Burnett was born and raised in Texas.  Sheila Burnett attended undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma.  Upon graduation, Sheila Burnett moved to Galveston, Texas, where she became an elementary school teacher.  Sheila Burnett later obtained her JD at South Texas College of Law.  During law school, Mrs. Burnett participated in numerous trial competitions and developed a passion for litigation.  Because of this passion, Mrs. Burnett worked in Harris County Prosecutor's Office and the Fort Bend County Prosecutor's Office while earning her law degree.After graduating from law school, Mrs. Burnett became an Assistant District Attorney for Fort Bend County.  During her tenure as a trial Prosecutor, Mrs. Burnett tried to a jury a range of misdemeanor, juvenile and felony cases.  Mrs. Burnett focused much of her Assistant District Attorney career practicing juvenile law.  Mrs. Burnett uses that information and training she obtained in her juvenile criminal defense career today.Mrs. Burnett is currently on the Board for the Fort Bend Young Lawyers, a Member of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, and a Member of the Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Mrs. Burnett is a recurring speaker for the Fort Bend County Juvenile Legal Awareness Workshop where she informs parents and juveniles of their rights and options after being charged with a juvenile offense.
